WHO IS FONDATION RÉMY COINTREAU?

FONDATION REMY COINTREAU’s mission is to support, in France and abroad, initiatives that valorize and transmit exceptional savoir-faire. FONDATION REMY COINTREAU acts in favor of terroir in its cultural, environmental and human expression.

The Rémy Cointreau Group, already an active philanthropist, decided to launch its proper corporate foundation, LA FONDATION REMY COINTREAU’s, in 2017. The Group committed to terroir, people and time wished to take action for the preservation and development of cultural and human heritage with the establishment of FONDATION REMY COINTREAU. FONDATION REMY COINTREAU provides financial, technical or human resources to projects on all continents, with priority given to our terroir of reference.

Rémy Cointreau is a French, family-owned Group whose origins date back to 1724. It is the result of the 1990 merger of holding companies owned by the Hériard Dubreuil and Cointreau families, which controlled E. Rémy Martin & Cie SA and Cointreau & Cie SA, respectively. The Group is also the result of successive partnerships with other companies active in the same wines and spirits business lines. Rémy Cointreau has a portfolio of exceptional spirits, of which the brands include: LOUIS XIII and Rémy Martin cognacs, the liqueur Cointreau, the Greek spirit METAXA, the French brandy St-Rémy, the single malts Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore, The Botanist gin, Westland Distillery American single malt, and Domaine des Hautes Glaces French organic single malt. Each of these brands embodies unique expertise and heritage, but all share the same culture of excellence.
