A new director joins the board: Marc-Henri Bernard

Since the 6th of October 2021, Fondation Rémy Cointreau is pleased to welcome Marc-Henri Bernard, the Human Resources Director of Group Rémy Cointreau, as a new member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

With a Master degree in law, administration and human resources, he worked during thirty years for several international groups such as Essilor International, les Laboratoires Takeda, PepsiCo or Christofle. Because of his investment in his job, he also has been trained to be a Coach and he is a member of the ANDRH (Association Nationale des Directeurs des Ressources Humaines).

The Professional motivations of Marc-Henri Bernard

Marc-Henri Bernard has started his career as an athlete into the French Handball Team. This first professional life and all the values related to it, has inspired him since the beginning of his professional experiences. Today, he is convicted that the sport values can be an inspiration for the corporate life. So, he encourages Groupe Rémy Cointreau’s collaborators to work considering this approach.

He is also attached to three terms: passion, meaning and action. As the Human Resources Director, he is convicted that those three words make the corporate life easier and beneficial. So, he tries to implement those terms every day with his collaborators as he thinks that each member of the Groupe Rémy Cointreau is a part of the evolution of the firm. In this way, the social diversity and the social inclusion are, for him, driving forces that contribute to the evolution and the fulfilment of the Group.

To conclude, Marc-Henri Bernard implements sport values in his everyday job guided by passion, meaning and action.

The Fondation Rémy Cointreau as the realisation of Marc-Henri Bernard’s motivations

Fondation Rémy Cointreau has appeared as an evidence for Marc-Henri Bernard because its mission is to support, in France and abroad, initiatives of general interest in order to showcase and convey invaluable savoir-faire and expertise.

It gathers passionate craftsmen who concretely act or create through their know-how. Their process of research, of creation and of realisation give meaningful production specific to each craftsman.
